PPDS PDS to update variable bucket capacity

Hello All

Working with scenario, looking for expert advice

APO PDS with type 'p" PPDS with mixed resource is used and want to populate the bucket resource capacity (variable).

What is the procedure to update, does the normal CIF only transfer continous resource capacity for mixed resource? do we need to implement any badi or user exit?

The PDS_MAINT in ECC does provide option to maintain it but exploring option of default setup via CIF

Hi Vijay,

If I understood your request correctly, you would like to populate a Variable Bucket Consumption in the Capacity Requirement of a given mode/activity in the PP/DS PDS.

In this case, please, check wiki.

Hi Vijay,

You can maintain bucket resource capacity on ECC side at work center level. In the capacity view you choose the APO Resource button and in the tab Standard Capacity you have this possibility.

If you have variable capacity you can do this on APO side, at resource level by pressing the button Capacity Variants. Here you can define multiple variant by bucket profile. Capacity variant is specific for APO system.

I don't think that you can create it from ECC through CIF transfer.
