Hi friends,
I'm work with pi 7.3 dual stack.
I'm configure the monitoring for sync message and have the next question... I configure the integration engine configuration logging_sync on 0, then the message not are archive. But exist the option define interface for archiving and retention periods... If I add the sync interface on this list and the value logging_sync =0, keep the message??
AFAIK - You can't archive synchronous messages. Setting the logging_sync just delays the deletion process based on retention period
Refer to the section "h" and under the introduction section you can find "Also synchronous PI messages can only be deleted and not archived."

Hello,
>>define interface for archiving and retention periods" is for abap message monitoring only or java too ? what is the function of this option...
For archiving/deleting messages on java side, u have to define schedule different set of jobs/parameters. Parameters defined under sxmb_Adm will only take care of archiving/deleting messages on abap stack.
Thanks

Hi Brian,
You can do these settings in NWA as explained in below steps;
Open ‘Java System Properties’ option in NWA.
Click on the Service tab and filter the values with "XPI Service: Messaging System" in the filter entry.
Filter properties with ‘messaging.sync’
Change the below highlighted parameter value to ‘false’ from default value ‘true’ for keeping the log for synchronous messages.
Also set the "Remover.checkInterval" parameter with a value for number of days after which synchronous messages will be deleted.
Also refer below links for any further help;
