How do I reduce OS stat's for PI

Hi Chaps,

We are seeing large quanties of statistics being created in PI at the O/S level - some 30-50MB per hour on average in directory /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/data which is filling the filesystem.  This seems an excessive amount of data being recorded, so do we know how to reduce the amount of statistics being generated?

Thanks,

Graham

What is the trace level on your PI components? If it is at info level. it logs every activity and may be that could be the possible reason.

However i suggest you to post this question under forum for experts advice.

Thanks - I often answer questions in the NW forum....

How do I check the trace level of the PI components?  Is that something particular?

http://host:port/nwa/log-config and have a look at the severity column.
