Text determination:

Defines which texts should be called-up at what point using a communication structure. Procedure that determines the text types to be transferred to a document as well as the sequence and the language in which the texts are to be copied.

Output determination:

Information sent to the customer by various media such as mail, EDI or fax

Examples of output are:

• Printed quotation or order confirmations

• Order confirmations sent by EDI

• Shipping notifications sent by fax

Route Determination:

Routes are determined depending on the following criteria:

• Country and departure zone (departure zone of the shipping point)

• Shipping conditions agreed in the sales order

The shipping condition is defined in shipping point determination.

• Transportation group of the material

• Country and transportation zone (receiving zone) of the ship-to party

Shipping Conditions:

If the shipping condition states, for example, that the goods should reach the customer as quickly as possible, the system automatically proposes the fastest shipping point and route.

Transit time :time taken by the material to reach customers place.

Transportation time :time taken to schedule the materials by shipping company.
