SAP Sourcing / CLm 10.0 - Question about Contract Generation.

Hello Experts,

I am trying to gather the minimum requirements to install SAP Sourcing 10.0, I was checking the installation GUides and the master Guides. For verision 9.0 the hardware minimum requirements are in the Installation guide. For version 10.0 the requirements are neither in the installation guide nor in the master Guide.

Is it possible to use same requirements as in version 9.0?

If you are talking about Contract Generation specifically, you could take advantage of the new contract generation service (aka DOCX Service). There are several advantages to go with the new contract generation service. For example, you can eliminate the need for a separate contract gen
server. You also eliminate some of the challenges with the old contract gen such as maintaining a separate windows server, complex installation and setup process, potentially lengthy debugging process, etc.

The new contract gen service runs as part of the SAP Sourcing server and no separate installation is required. Although we still support the old contract gen for upgrade customers, it is recommended to use the new contract gen service. As part of the upgrade steps, you would have to convert the .doc files to .docx files. For new installations, you can directly use the new contract gen service.
