I visited the link but I find that I had already been there earlier and could not find what I was looking for.

My scenario is like this:

We have activated automatic creation of equipment master from asset master. Now how do I ensure that the equipment master being so created has the correct Equipment Category.

Let us take two asset classes and corresponding equipment categories:

1234     Plant and machinery     M

6789     Fire and safety               F

Now I want to know how the system decides for which equipment category the equipment will be created for say asset class 6789.

Will appreciate your help on this.
