HI,

Earlier we had setup Fiori landscape and apps was working fine.
Now our backed is upgraded so we are trying to re-install apps. While maintaining the services we are getting error as "Serice node is created, unable to load metadata".

When we execute the oData service then we got error as "Model 'ZLEAVEREQUEST_0002_BE' contains errors. Contact Administrator".

Earlier system alias used was different name and after upgrade we are using new system alias.

What could be the reason??

Please assist.

Regards,

Suhas.

This is having screen shot for my contact app only to avoid confusion.

We upgraded backed to ECC6.0 ehp7.

Hi Suhas,

Why are you going to activate OData services again? Those services have been activated before, right?

hi Masa,

We tried to use the same service which was activated earlier, but got issue as "model contains errors".

After that, we deleted that service and tried to activate again, that time facing issue of "Unable to laod metadata".

Earlier client was 100 and now we are using client 001.So we created new rfc destination and system alias, still facing issue.

Suhas.

Hi Suhas,

So do you use 2 clients (100 and 001) in Gateway?

Hi Masa,

Now are using client 001 only.

Let me explain you overall scenario.

1.Earlier we used ECC6.0 ehp 5 as backed, all fiori apps were worked fine. ECC sid was        ECC1".Client used was 100.

2. we upgraded ECC! system to ehp 7 by system copy of another system (ECC2) which is ehp7.
So now we are currently on ECC6.0 ehp7. SID is same as 'ECC1'.
    Client used is 001.

3.Created RFC destination & system alias for 001 client.(central hub scenario)

Now for every application it is showing error as 'unable to load metadata' if we tried to activate service again by deleting old service.

And if we use earlier activated service and by changing system alias, it showing 'Model XYZ--- contains problem, contact administrator'.

Suhas.

Hi Suhas,

In that case, you did not need to delete the services. Just adding additional system alias was fine.

I guess something was wrong in the deleting steps. I would do debug in this case.

Hi MASA,

I found something as below..

1.MY CONTACT

in pre-requisite of my contact app, this app supports upto EHP6. And after upgrade we have EHP7.

So might be this is reason..

2.MY TIMESHEET
Before UPGRADE-
ECC 6.0 ehp5
front-end component : UIX01HCM    03 (prerequisite)
backend : SRA002     05 (prerequisite)

After Upgrade
ECC 6.0 ehp7 sp 04
front-end component : UIX01HCM    04 (prerequisite)
backend : SRA002     06 (prerequisite)

Means UIX01HCM and SRA002 component version differ.IS this reason for issue??
However, UIX01HCM with SP 03 & SRA002 SP05  worked earlier. For every apps, there is change in addon sp level.

I am plannig to apply corresponding SPS and then check again..

Please comment..

NOTE: for SPS 04, it requires SAP_UI 740 on front end server.
We are using NW 7.31,so this add-on not available.

Regards,

Suhas.
