Create hierarchy in SAP Hana online

Hell Guys,

I have lumira report that are visualized on Realtime data( by connecting to hana server). But the ability to create hierarchy is disabled in this type of connection mode, however when i choose other connection mode "Download data from Hana" then option of creating hierarchy is enabled. I am looking forward to create drill down option in lumira while being connected to SAP HANA Online mode? Is there any alternative to create hierarchy in hana online mode?

yes, your observation is quite correct . this is alluded to in the Help guides: http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/vi01/en/lum_120_user_en.pdf

See section 3.5 Acquiring data from SAP HANA views.

SAP Lumira can connect to SAP HANA views in two ways:

1. By downloading data from SAP HANA
   Data is copied locally and can be manipulated and edited before being visualized in charts.
2. ** By viewing data in SAP HANA
   ** Data is read only (that is, you cannot edit it), but you can visualize it in charts.
