Hello Michael,
If you want to increase the data buffer quality, you have to tune your database. There are many database parameters those need to be taken care. As it has been suggested, good place to start with Early Watch Report, that you can configure in your Solution Manager system and you can get the report and analyse it.
If you are not familiar how to configure Early Watch Alert, below is the wiki document can help you (check you SAP Solution Manager Version):
Create EarlyWatch Alert in solution manager 7.1 - SAP Solution Manager Setup - SCN Wiki
Some of the SAP notes could be helpful for your analysis.
SAP Note 619188 FAQ: Oracle wait events
SAP Note 766349 FAQ: Oracle SQL optimization
SAP Note 767414 FAQ: Oracle latches
Also, you might look into the below links that provide the information you are looking for:

You might have to take help from oracle documentation as well.
Let me know if it helps.

Hi Michael,
Get the EWA report of this system and follow the recommendations to tune your DB.
That should be your starting point, for now.

Hello Michel
Form oracle could please provide the below parameter values, connect to oracle and just type below command and paste the screen,If AMM(Automatic Memory Management) is enabled in your oracle then there are some views which gives the correct values for dba_cache_size and sga_max_size in the system based on the load and the view are V$SGA_TARGET_ADVICE,V$DB_CACHE_ADVICE.Please read
