Where do we set the maximum allowed weight for delivery

We have to combine various sales orders into a delivery such that the total weight does not exceed the maximum allowed weight(say 100 kg).

Where is this parameter set?

Hi,

other than weight, you don´t explain additional criteria (which rational will be used during weight accumulation during delivery creation)... I would suggest instead evaluate the use of subsequent outbound delivery functionality, here you can split manually your delivery over 100 kg in additional ones. Check in custo (logistic execution-shipping).

I don't have to manually split until it is 100 kgs. But it has to.automatically split when weight exceeds. I need this to be done to optimize freight cost.

Hi,

You can maintain a new copy control rule in VOFM for your VTLA and assign the same , hopefully it will work.

For example you can maintain a new copy control rule so that whenever the gross weight of the sales order will cross the desired limit it will not allow to save.
