Logical port name in proxy

Former Member

Hello Experts,

It's me again. I came up with new question this time. When I am executing a client proxy in ECC, It is prompting for "logical port name". If I ignore that, its giving me error "GET_BUSINESS_SYSTEM_ERROR".

I have gone through several blogs and discussions and mostly are suggesting to maintain logical port name in SOAMANAGER. But our problem is we in Netweaver 7.4 and the blogs are too old and couldn't relate those options to current SOAMANAGER screen.

Here is the help I am requesting from you.

1. Is my approach correct? I mean SOAMANAGER configuration?

2. Should we do this for each Service definition?

3. Is there any other way of resolving this issue? because, technical systems, business systems are all good and SLDCHECK is perfect.

4. Is this common? creating logical port via SOAMANAGER for new system?

Any ideas please.

Hi,

Refer the below note

SAP Note 1817447 - Error "GET_BUSINESS_SYSTEM_ERROR" for Consumer Proxy calls

Did you check the SAPSLDAPI and in SXMB_ADM check the integration engine configuration.

Also check in RZ70 configuration is correct or not?

Hi,

1. Is my approach correct? I mean SOAMANAGER configuration?

-->> yes your approach is correct.

2. Should we do this for each Service definition?

-->> the service needs to configure for each service interface.

3. Is there any other way of resolving this issue? because, technical systems, business systems are all good and SLDCHECK is perfect.

4. Is this common? creating logical port via SOAMANAGER for new system?

Please check the below blog for more detail.
