Hi Gurus,

It will be helpful if any one can answer the below question.

We have a scenario

--> Product ABC (PLANT 1000) = Product CDF (PLANT 1100)

---> Inventory of a Product ABC is in Plant 1000 (DC)

Business wanted production plant to see the inventory before creating the receipt elements. We don't have plant 1000 in APO, we just have 1100 plant in APO.

In DC 1000 PRODUCT   ABC--1000 KG in inventory

In Production Plant 1100 Product CDF has inventory 100 KG--> Actually the total inventory we have 1100 KG

When running Heuristic APO need to consider 1100 KG and generate order for the requirements.

Can any one help me how to map Product ABC = Product CDF so that we can see total inventory in Plant 1100 (Production Plant)?

Please it will be helpful if anyone suggest.

Thanks & Regards,

Rajesh

Hi rajesh,

what is the inventory of Product CDF , plant 1100 in ECC? since the APO system should be in Synch with ECC, presume that the qty at 1100 in ECC is same as in APO.

the heurustics results which you are publishing in ECC would be at plant 1100 ?

Hi Rorie,

As APO & ECC are in sync the inventory for product CDF is visible in APO as well for plant 1100. Product ABC and plant 1000 is not APO relevent means we wont see them in APO.

My question is how we can make changes to have Product ABC inventory in Product CDF?

It will be helpful if anyone can suggest.

Thanks & Regards,

Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,

I think only closest match will be through CIF enhancement. We are bringing inventory from financial location in ECC to physical location in APO as financial location are not available in APO. Material code remains same in our case

Also you can check if special procurement production in another location works fine.
