adding values to object in IDT

Hello All,

when I run "show values" for an object in IDT. it shows me list of all values available for that column.Is there any way I can add values to the object?

for example: In the screenshot I have 'messagetype' showing values  'CM and 'EM' .Now i want another value 'ALL' which has to be both ' CM and EM'.

How can I do it...any inputs appreciated.

Hi,

In BI4.0 Information Design Tool, you can create a custom LOV by importing a .txt file if you need.

Another option is: Create an Input Control for the field "Message Type" and choose Radio Buttons option with List of Values = Custom, you will see "All values" input control.

I created a txt file with Lov's   CM, EM, All messages. And imported the txt file in List of values in busines slayer and I used the list of value in my object properties to import the txt file values. But i still see original DB values just EM and CM ...when i show data values.Please see the screenshot.

i want to show 'All messages' as a static column even if there is or not data for CM or EM. How do i do it
