Restrict transfer of Purchase req. without source of supply from APO to ECC

Hi Expert,

I want to restrict CIF of Purchase requisitions from APO to ECC which are without source of supply in APO.

What is the standard process to control that (without any EXIT)?Please help !

Hi Suvankar,

You can deactivate the automatic source of supply determination in the IMG for CIF(TCODE :SPRO).

Please follow the below path for the same.

Application-Specific Settings and Enhancements ® Settings and Enhancements for External Procurement  ® Inbound Processing of Purchasing Data ®Activate/Deactivate Source of Supply Determination/Source List Integration.

Hi Suvankar,

Maybe you can prevent the creation of the PReq w.o source of supply by running each day (or depends how often is your master data updated) the model consistency check /SAPAPO/CONSCHK.

Do you want to control the creation of PReq in APO w/o source of supply or only restrict the transfer of PReq w/o SoS to ECC?

In the planning version, you can restrict the creation of PReq w/o SoS. (No receipt w/o SoS for external procurement)

Otherwise, if you have activated real time integration of PReq with ECC, then it is difficult to control. If you set the integration with conversion indicator, then no PReq will be transferred until you transfer them manually or set the conversion indicator for them.

I want the restriction only in transfer of P reqs to ECC,not in creation in APO.

APO there can be Purchase req without SoS.

Hi,

Probably what you can do that, in C5 variant ( presume that you run it for both regeneration and netchange through Process chain), you can exclude the "source location" which is blank or include only those sources which you want to transfer.
