sap ides : no connect to database. session terminated

Hi Experts

Am using Sap IDES system..

Am not an basis consultant. i have zero knowledge on basis..am trying to exercise some reports on my system.

suddenly my sap ides is not working...

it says ;  SAU GUI

NO CONNECT TO DATABASE.

SESSION TERMINATED.

Please help me to solve this..

It is very helpful if you provide me step by step to solve this

HI Murali,

First check your sap system is running or not check it at os level sap mmc and check the services at os level whether they are running or not, if ur using oracle database check for oracle serives and listener  serives is running or not.

Firs check listener services and db services  are started in db level and check the oraarch file system if it is full take backup.

Are you sure your issue relates to web dynpro? This looks like a database issue, you should try to ask in that topic...
