Hello All
The scenario is R/3->XI- FTP server
FTP server is at the customer network (external) and synchronous communication happens through internet. I would like to know how we can configure and import Security certificates in XI and R/3 to ensure security when exchanging messages back and forth.
Thanks
Ricky
Hi,
Hope you know XI does not support SFTP only FTPS (two different things)

Ricky,
You have to deploy SAP Java Cryptographic Toolkit and should add the CA certificate to the key storage.
On how to deploy SAP Java Cryptographic Toolkit see this help:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8d/cb71b8046e6e469bf3dd283104e65b/frameset.htm
For Key storage:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e9/a1dd44d2c83c43afb5ec8a4292f3e0/frameset.htm
Once when you do this click on F4 where you will find your keystore values and x.509certificates. Then you should good enough to use FTPS but not SFTP.
Also SFTP is not supported by XI and also your file adapter will not support synchronous calls.
