Are there any steps to configure the GP App sap>com/caf_eugp_uiinst.

or is it available for creating the IViews in NW04s

Hello Robert,

you can certainly use the caf/eu/gp/ui/inst component to start a GP. To do this, select the Web Dynpro iView while creating a new iView and select the component AInstantiation under sap.com>caf/eu/gp/ui/inst.

After creating the iView, you will need to give in the process ID, autostart, etc under Application Parameters for that iView. Assign the iView to a role and that's it.

You cannot configure this application. This component is no longer supported for external usage outside internal GP components.

It appears that this is the application that provides the opportunity to start a GP from a IView. Is there another method to start the GP from within the portal. My requirement is to start the GP in a particular workset when the user selects a link.
