1974555 - DP: trace more warnings when buffer refresh wasn't triggered

You may see the folloing output in dev_disp:

*** WARNING => DpTimeCheck: skipped N buffer refresh requests because one is in the queue

Advise:

if you see the first warning (skipped, in queue) a few times it was likely a temporary overload. If you see these frequently the system isn't configured properly.

Dear Mukesh Khamparia ,

Thanks For Quickly Reply.

I have checked S-Note 1974555 - DP: trace more warnings when buffer refresh wasn't triggered and also upgrade kernel patches on development server but my problem not solved yet.

Can You guide me for How to take Backup MAX Database Log on local Hard Disk?

I have tried last time to taking backup from MAX DB Client command line as below :-

dbmcli -d DEV -u control,Password

dbmcli on DEV> medium_put DEV D:\MaxDB\Backup\DAT0001 FILE LOG

During this phase create directory automatically but in my case not create it and backup file is not creating on the path.So please give me advise for it ASAP.

Subhash

1. You can take backup from DB Studio.

OR

2. Create at flat file like "back" (without extention)

3. start backup again D:\MaxDB\Backup\DAT0001\back

Hi Subhas,

There are two nice documentation from SAP that can help you understanding in detail on what you are asking.

http://maxdb.sap.com/training/administration_7.6/MaxDB-Admin-All.pdf

Let me know if they are helpful.

If you still have issues to startup SAP, share the dev_w0 and dev_ms log here. Thanks.

Hi Subhash,

What is the Output of R3trans -d

If this is successful, then stop all SAP and DB.

Start DB -- then SAP .. and please provide the very latest log from work Directory again.

Are the clocks synced ?

also, refer - SAP Note 1974555 - DP: trace more warnings when buffer refresh wasn't triggered

2. Is this firewall or UAC on windows OS level?

3. What is the kernel & DBSL patch level CI & DI?
