Hello Experts
I am using lumira, and I am trying to compare the sales of 2 diferent years. I would like to know what was the increase percentage between this 2 years.
Does any one have an idea??
I have tried using trellis with no luck
Thanks
Jacobo
Hi Jocobo & Tammy,
I have changed my formula and it is same as your requirement
I just change the data to 400,700,800 and refresh the result
it looks ok
the only weak point for this solution is I hard coded the year.. I am not sure how to dynami calculated the year. Would you kindly give us some guide on dynamic year calculation if possible?
Best regards

Hi All,
I am stuck in the same calculation!
% of change in current year sales vs previous year sales
% of change in current month sales vs previous months sales
% of change in current month week vs previous weeks sales
Could you please let me know, Now if we can write dynamic code/syntax to achieve the results in 1.29 version.
Thanks,
Ganesh

Hello Tammy
Thanks for your reply.
What i am trying to do is to compare the sales from 3 years.
Lets say we have the next information about the sales of a company
Year | Sales |
---|---|
2012 | 100 |
2013 | 200 |
2014 | 300 |
What I want tho see in the visualization is how much does the sales increased from 2012 to 2013 for example it will be 100%, and from 2013 to 2014 it will be 50%.
I would like to se the increase or the decrease percentage between the years.
Thanks
Jacobo
Hi Jacobo - I am hoping the data is in Excel and you can calculate the % change there. I couldn't figure out how to do that inside Lumira - I tried creating a calculated dimension but couldn't figure it out
Once I acquired the data in prepare, I used the new display formatting to show a percentage
Then in the visualization room I used a dual axes chart - see below:
Hi Tammy,
I calculated this in SAP Lumira
You could check my reply for Jacobo. The value might be wrong for different year but I could adjust my folrmula to get correct one which is same as your's
The calculation is hard coded and dull... but it covers all data mash up function in SAP Lumira
I am not sure whether there is any other simple way in Lumira to do this
Best regards
