How to link SAP to Excel

Hi,

There are various reports I download from SAP into Excel. I would like to make this process more automatic. How do I link SAP data to Excel. I am particularly interested in GL detail.

Hi Michelle,

1. Is you are trying to create Excel file with SAP data in Local or Server drive with automatic process.

If so, tell me

Is you planning to do this through SAP technincal (i.e. from ABAP) or SAP MII.

     a. Through ABAP we can do this process and make it auto update to excel in background

     b. In SAP MII, we can create a file with data and save to local drive. But i am not pretty sure about Excel file.
