SNAP_NO_NEW_ENTRY run time error

Hi All,

i scheduled remote client copy after some time it was stoped so i try to restart the process am facing One dump "SNAP_NO_NEW_ENTRY"

after that am not able to do anything if i exicute T-code am getting same dump i follwed some note 17537 - ABAP/4 runtime error SNAP_NO_NEW_ENTRY but my issue was not resolved.

while login in to SAP GUI am getting "db error sql error 9002 occurred" error.

I believe Transaction logs are full   , Try to release Space related Transaction log.

Hi Srikanth,

I too had the same problem, but it was with a background job to fetch data from table MARA.

Check if there is any background job active in Tx SM51.

Additionally if possible share SM21 system logs for analysis and complete dump under ST22 .

Hi Srikanth,

Short Dump SNAP_NO_NEW_ENTRY due to database problems.For this please follow SAP Note   17537 - ABAP/4 runtime error SNAP_NO_NEW_ENTRY 

and the note 421644 as already mentioned by Karthikeyan.

Hi Srikanth,

Are you using DB2 ? Transaction logs are full please restart the DB and try to continue again. You might need to extend primary & secondary logs of Db to avoid filling again.
