Image object in XI 3.1 Universe

Hi,

We have a oracle table that has image column also. We want to use that for webi, now i have to bring that table in the universe. Does universe support CLOB or BLOB objects? If Yes, then are there any steps to keep in mind while considering this sort of solution?

It is not possible to process the Blob columns as it is at database level. 

If the Blob column contains text data, this blog could help you to proceed further

Then how can we use images from oracle table - but i think oracle team is planning to save images there - what datatype is that and how we can leverage them in BOBJ 3.1?
