Broken Dc in SAPCUI_GP SC.

Hello,

CBS is showing this DC sap.com/pcui_gp/xsscfgedit as broken in SAPCUI_GP SC though i have not done any changes in that DC.

[wdgen] [Error]Component 'FPMAppEditor': Used component/component interface is missingLocalComponentInterface com.sap.xss.cfg.util.FPMEditorUtilitiesInterface Hint:Check availability of public part archive

[wdgen] [Error] Generation failed due to errors (3 seconds).

I created above DC for checking issue and got Error as Used Component missing.What could be the used component for that i am unable to understand as i am new to ESS.

Depending on the release but if I remember 70X ESS development consists of:

- SAP_ESS

- SAPPCUI_GP

- SAP_BUILDT

- SAP_JTECHS

- SAP-JEE

One of these most likely haven't been imported into the corresponding buildspace (e.g. Development/Consolidation tab in CMS --> check for SCs with status "Waiting for Import".)

We have implmented ESS 633.It has following dependancies.

JAVA FRAMEWORK OFFLINE 7.30

and in CBS ired traffic light is against compile state.

And in build log it is showing:

How To find the used component for above DC

Hi,

click on that link on your screenshot (the pcui_gp/xsscfgedit) and check the Request log.

Alternatively if you click on it, on the next screen you should have a tab "Used DCs".

Hello Ervin,

I can see many DC's under used DC tab.I found one dc from same SC itself when i created that DC(the pcui_gp/xsscfg) i am unable to find any component.

How to resolve used component missing Error .kindly help.

The error seems to come from the wd generator ([wdgen]).

I'll do some more research soon (however I am not available till monday) maybe could look into it in the meantime.

yes it worked before,recently two months back the systems got migrated to a new landscape,

This broken DC appeared after the migration.we have imported the dependent SCA's .

We have migrated our system from one landscape to another.OS and DB are same.

OS is RHEL 6.2

DB is Oracle 11.2.

Yes we are using this nwdi for other sc development too that is working fine but there we are facing some problem in releasing the activities due to some predecessor activities.No DC's are broken in other SC.

host names and ip adresses changed...SID did not change
