Hi Experts,
we have imported the role SAP_BC_SEC_IDM_COMMUNICATION to our SAP system and added the role to our technical user.
During initial load or create ABAPuser we get the error:
Error occured in JCo3Proxy.logonSapi(String):
No RFC authorization for function module RFCPING
How can we fix this?
Regards
Florian
Hi Florian,
SAP default roles would be modified by SAP Support Packages upgrades. Therefore, make a copy of this role and use for your technical user.
Check if the profile is generated for the role.
Check SM21 for logs to find which function group the authorization is missing and add to the role.
Regards,
Jai

Thank you Jai and Billy.
The profile was missing. After generation the communication IDM/SAP works fine

You need to have access to s_rfc object for you IDM_Comm ID.
Refer to the following or point your security team to the following:
It is also possible to look to the built in role sap_s_rfcacl to make it happen now or for a point of reference.
