Hello

Error during Primary application server installation, for distributed SAP

SAP: NW74 / ERP 6.0 /EhP7

OS: RHEL 6

DB: SAP ASE

For SAP distributed installation Distributed System > Based on AS ABAP > Primary Application Server Instance( Last error reported by the step: Process call '/usr/sap/SSM/SYS/exe/uc/linuxx86_64/saplikey pf=/usr/sap/SSM/SYS/profile/SSM_DVEBMGS01_sap-prd-app1 -install_first_temp O1666385111 XXXXXX' exits with error code 2. For details see log file(s) saplikey.log, dev_slic.). You can now: Choose Retry to repeat the current step.

Hi Eric,

- Are you using a latest version of SWPM.

- Paste the saplikey.log and dev_slic

Moreover the error seems to be the the script so run the below command manually.

'/usr/sap/SSM/SYS/exe/uc/linuxx86_64/saplikey pf=/usr/sap/SSM/SYS/profile/SSM_DVEBMGS01_sap-prd-app1 -install_first_temp O1666385111

check the files

Also perform kernel upgrade to the latest patch.
