Connecting SMD Agents using Web dispatcher

Hi,

We installed web dispatcher for the solution manger system. Should we be using the web dispatcher port to connect to the agents with the smdsetup script now? or should we still continue to use the message server port in the command

./smdsetup.sh managingconf hostname:sapms://<Server Name> port:<> user:SMD_AGT

I tried with the web dispatcher port & it errors up error in the agent logs. Please advise.

Hi Magesh, I never see the connection trough web dispatcher for SMD.

I use 2 options,  MS (message server) or P4.  both with or without saprouter (if you select with saprotuer, you will get a lot of headaache).

On that post you can see scripts for manually setups.
