“Suppress Multiple Alerts” functionality is not present in SAP PI 7.31 SP06 version but present in SP07

Hello Experts,

We have created CBMA based Alerts in our Integration Directory  and we are using SAP PI 7.31 Dual stack SP06 patch version.

What we have observed is that“Suppress Alert” functionality is not present in SP06 patch but its present in the higher version of SP07.

We wanted to know,

1. Will this make any difference in SP06 and SP07 Alert functionality?
2. Which categories of errors “Suppress Alert” functionality should be implemented for in order to avoid multiples alerts being generated for the same message/error? i.e. Message mapping errors, Sender communication channel errors or receiver communication channel errors?

Hello Dijesh,

It seems this functionality is in built and we dint do any modifications on the version. Also we dint face issue of multiple alerts being genearted for the same message/error. Hence suppress functionality was not needed.
