Hi All,
I able to enroll android device via the afaria client and able to send notification such as "lock device".
however, afaria client prompt an error "Unable to Connect" when I trying to refresh the application list from the afaria client. Following is the error screen shot display on the afaria client.
I suspect this is some problem with the package server or CA connection.
Anyone can help?
Thanks.

As for the android, what type of certificate are you using? The most common issue is that the root certificate you are using for HTTPS is not on the device. Can you check the certificate store of the device for that root cert? Another method of checking is to browse to https://<PortalPackageServerAddress>/ps/ps.svc/help from the browser on the device and see if the site is accessible from that device and if it throws any errors.
Hi Tracy,
Thanks for reply again. Our afaria is using selfsign certificate.
I tried to browse https://<PortalPackageServerAddress>/ps/ps.svc/help on the android device as per suggest. it prompt "there are problems with the security certificate for this site".
However, when i tried to browse the link on the iOS device and the iOS device prompt "cannot verify server identity" as well.
Please advise.

On the android device, check the settings and make sure that the values seeded on the device for the package server appear correct. Being android this would not be a CA problem. Are you using a relay server or direct connect? Does the package server work for other device types, or are you only using Android?

Hi Tracy,
Thanks for your reply and the CA clarification, its short my time to troubleshoot the CA connection for the problem I encountering.
Besides, I separate the question so that it easier to understand.
1. The package server ip and port display on the device configuration is correct and the connection is using HTTPS.
2. My Afaria environment is direct connect to Afaria server.
3. The package server is working for iOS device, the custom afaria client on iOS device able to display and install the enterprise app.
Is that correct to using HTTPS connection as the package server connection?
