BRTools on ORACLE ASM Fails on startup\shutdown\backup of instance

Hi all,

we installed a solution manager 7.1 on Linux\Oracle ASM (11.2.0.4), installation ended succesfully and the system works, but we had some issues on brtools.

They works fine for statistics and DB check, but if we try to startup, shutdown or backup the DB we have tris ussue:

We already try with brtools 7.20 versione 30 and 39 and now we have 7.40 version 11, but we have always same result.

We already check those notes:

     1598594 - BR*Tools configuration for Oracle inst. under "oracle" user

     1554661 - Configuration of environment for 'oracle' user

Hi Christian

Please check the access and permissions on /oracle/ESM/sapbackup/. ; there could be issue with ora<sid> and might not be able to create/modify the file.

Further we can look into other error logs.

oraSID doesn't exist in oracle ASM, there is only user oracle, and the permission are setting as indicated on note 1598594.
