Bad data from unx

Using BI 4.1 SP4 and Lumira Desktop 1.19

Creating a new dataset from UNX with about 10 objects.

Most objects are coming in fine but some are being translated into a different data type. I see dates where I should be seeing numbers.

How should values be configured in the universe to ensure that the datatype is correct when accessing the object from Lumira?

Hi Scott - can you access that same universe using Web Intelligence?  My understanding is that earlier versions of Lumira used similar logic accessing universes that Web Intelligence uses.

Yes, I built a report from Webi and the data is accurately formatted.

Building the same query in Lumira does not provide identical values.

The issue may not be in the universe because if I add objects 1 at a time, I get accurate values, at some point the data goes bad and I cannot create the full query.

Hi Scott - I was just prompted to update Lumira Desktop to 1.20

Could you try updating and see if the errors persist?  Go to Help > Check for Updates in Lumira Desktop

Still an issue in 1.20

After further investigating the data in one column is being repeated from a prior column.

Scott - at this point, I recommend opening a ticket with SAP Support so they can troubleshoot this - especially if Web Intelligence is supporting this.

Thank you for trying 1.20 version
