Homogeneous system copy of an BW3.5 based on NW640

Hello

We have an old archive system BW3.5 based on NW640. I wander is it possible to migrate it to another platform or perform Homogeneous system copy to same platform.

Where to find master media for migration/copy. Namely SWPM is not supporting NW640

If you don't have a copy of the installation media saved somewhere locally then you probably might have to ask SAP through an OSS for the download link. You can check the media guide for SAP NetWeaver '04 SR1 and ask for those DVD's.

Unfortunately I am not able to see the installation media for NetWeaver '04 SR1 anywhere on SMP using my S-User.

Hi Jan,

You simply need to run sapinst on the 640 installation master, the option for system copy should be listed as usual.

1. Are you taking about NW 6.4 or 7.4 ?

2. In your case better you can raise the support ticket to SAP
