Named Sets in Lumira

Hello Lumira experts,

I'd like to know if there's a feature in Lumira to create Named Sets. What I mean by this is the ability to group some dimension elements (membars) into a single named entity. For exmaple, I have a product dimension with 100 members. I'd like to add the some of them to a named set called "discontinued products" or "low revenue products".

Is this possible in Lumira as it is today?

Best..

Hi Tammy,

Similar but not exactly. What I want is a grouping of dimension members / elements into a new named element. For example, If I have US states dimension like California Arizona, Texas and New Mexico, I'd want to create a named set or group called Border States, and have it show in the dimension filter as if it were a member itself. Measure amounts would aggregate of course.

This is a feature I've seen in other BI tools like Tableau.

Thanks

Hi Ricardo,

Yes this is possible.

In the Prepare Room, click on the data column corresponding to your dimension, in the Data Actionbs panel, use the feature called Group by Selection...

Best regards,

Antoine
