Description Update using reference characteristic.

Hi,

     I am updating the description of a line item on an order using a reference characteristic, ref SAP Info.

  Standard SAP descriptions are 40 characters, but a characteristic can only be 30 characters long. Therefore any update does not use the full length.

  Therefore the question is, how to do this with 40 characters. Can a characteristic be made to be more the 30 or is there another way.

Hej Rob,

Perhaps you could use Long Text instead.
