We will be migrating open sales orders from legacy to SAP. Issue is that many orders and already confirmed for specific dates in legacy, so when they are migrated to SAP, we would like these dates to remain as they are and not have SAP automatically run another ATP check during data load (LSMW) and potentially change/move dates around.
How to turn off ATP check for all Sales Order temporarily and then turn it back on after sales order load is finished? Is there an easy way to go about this?
Thanks!
Hi,
May be during the data load disable the ATP check, You might be enabled the ATP check in the item category, Just revert the ATP check in the item category for the old date records, After the data migration enable the ATP check and try,

Hi akshat. As I know once u create the sales order with old dates system will confirm the quantities as like legacy. So I think no need to worry about atp. If this will not work you can do with ,reserving the stocks for open sales orders which transferred from legacy.if you do this no need to change the atp. Just to reserving the stocks for open orders.

Simply, try determining Schedule line category which is not relevant for TOR or Availability Check, such as BN - No MRP.
Thanks, JP

The "Fixed Date and Quantity" indicator will ensure that the dates are not changed. So you could turn this on. If you have a lot of orders, you could create a fairly simple custom report to turn it on. You could also create a custom report to turn it off if you want.

This means, stocks would also be made available on earlier dates in SAP and while creating back dated sale order, system will confirm based on those dates.

Hi Bajaj,
After the initial Run, if you perform ATP then system will automatically determine new dates. will this be acceptable?
For temporary run, you can change the Availability check in the material master which will not carry out availability under Sales: General /Plant view ( either you can blank out this field or maintain value with no check)
There are so other options in configuration but I fee material master setting will be more opt than other configuration
try and revert
thanks
