1675953 - SSL Client Authentication failed with PI SOAP Axis Adapter

Hi,

I am facing SSL error in SOAP axis adapter in PI7.31 SP 007. When i use the same SSL certificate with HTTP_AAE adapter it works fine.

When i looked at the note 167953, it is saying it is saying that it is applicable to PI7.31 SP003. We are already on SP007, Should i get this note applied ?

The component information mentioned in note is like below:

If i look into system information i am not able to find BC-XI-CON-AXS component in our PI system as mentioned in Note.

Any suggestion what should i do ? I am just concerned if i get this note applied it may mess up something else as i am on higer Service pack than the SP mentioned in SAP note.

Hi Inder,

Take a closer look at the patch level concerned.

Your system could be on the correct support pack level, but a specific component (most likely mentioned in an OSS note) could need a higher patch level.

The patch level is mentioned as 0000. I am wondering why that component is not existing in my system at all.. BC-XI-CON-AXS Axis Extention for SOAP Adapter

Hi Inder,

BC-XI-CON-AXS Axis Extention for SOAP Adapter is not a component of your SAP system.

It is the component when you open an OSS call at the SAP Service Marketplace

You must look for component SAP_XIAF (XI ADAPTER FRAMEWORK)

Look at the above picture. BC-XI-CON-AXS should also show as a CSN component under SAPXI_AF. I do not see that.

I found another note which can fix my issue and applicable to my service pack.

2020358 - Axis HTTPGetter handler may throw error when using SSL communication

Will keep posted about the results.
