Error 001 on web dynpro project

Hi All

I have just completed a project on web dynpro and I have been struggling with an error for quiet some time now... This is the details of that error: " Apr 2, 2007 1:17:35 PM /userOut/deploy (com.sap.ide.eclipse.sdm.threading.DeployThreadManager) [Thread[Deploy Thread,5,main]] ERROR:

[001]Deployment aborted

Deployment exception : Cannot determine sdm host (is empty). Please configure your engine/sdm correctly !"

I have set my remote engine as: host = remotehost and the port is: 3601, and I have tried local host and it does not accept it at all....Please help me out guys I'm using Sap Netweaver developer studio version 2.0.9

Hi ,

With regard to the thread I have sent which software do I need in order to get this right because right now I only have developer studio(version 2.0.9) on my machine....because even now I'm still struggling to get it right!

Hi Fred,

Please check These,

1)Please ensure that J2EE Enginer host and port number is correct.

2)Ping the server

3)Restart your sdm server.

Hi Fred,

Check your SDM Engine if it is running.

Also, goto Visual Admin>server>services--->webdynpro

and check for the services. I feel that in your case, the services must be stopped. You will have to start the services and then try to deploy again.

Hi Fred,

In your NWDS, got to Menu Windows->Show View->J2EE Engine

check your SDM running Green
