Purchase requisition not picking Planning calender for MTO scenario

Hi Experts ,

We have  purchase requisition for dependent requirement  of a sales order material . The dependent requirement  has been maintained with planning calender to be shipped on Friday. However the delivery day is coming as Monday for PR in case of MTS. Through saturday and sunday are non working days and Friday is working day.

When we do MTS , it works perfectly fine.

What are the reasons that in MTO  its not picking the right day for shipping. Are there any implications from Sales order dates which overwrites the delivery date from planning calander.

Are these purchase requisitions generated by MRP? If this is the case, you are probably using a periodic lot sizing procedure for your material. However, on a MTO scenario, system uses the lot-for-lot logic (lot sizing EX) to calculate the quantity and does not consider the planning calendar.

Check the lot sizing procedure defined on your material and go to the customizing transaction OMI4. For the setting Lot Size: SOP make sure that the value 2 - Lot-for-lot order quantity is defined. Now MRP should generate requisitions according to the planning calendar.
