Hi All,
In the recent times we are facing a few issues with our adapter queues getting filled up due to unavailability of resources. It gets tricky to find the reason whenever this happens as this affects a lot of production time. Is there any way we can schedule alerts for the Dispatcher Queue as like when the queue count exceeds 50, alerts needs to be triggered as such. Kindly share your knowledge on this if this is possible or if you have done anything similar to this. Navigation to this queue is from
Configuration and Monitoring Home--> Monitoring --> Adapter Engine --> Adapter Engine Status --> Additional Data --> DispatchDisp
Hi Sherin,
You can configure CCMS alerts but not with standard PI alert mechanism,
Please contact your Basis team to contact your CCMS alerts.
Thanks and Regards,
Naveen

Hello,
I don't think u can setup any alert for dispatcher queue.
As u might have noticed that if adapter specific consumer threads are available u won't find any backlog in the disp queue. So, u should first try to fine tune ur system and make sure that enough resources are available - Increase ur consumer threads and define max receiver parameter and then monitor ur system.
In addition to that, depending upon ur PI version search for a possible solution guide on SDN.
Thanks

Hi Sherin
Which PI version are you using, and is it single stack or dual stack?
If you are on dual stack, you can consider requesting Basis to set up CCMS with PI specific template. This can be used to monitor Java components such as AE backlogs, etc. Refer to my replies in the following threads.
Delayed Async Proxy Message - queue problem
Messages with Delivering/TBD/Waiting status in RWB
One of my previous setup had it configured with a max limit for certain adapters, but haven't tried it for the dispatcher queue. You can try and check it out.

Hi Sherin
Since you are on dual stack, do check out the PI template for CCMS monitoring (link below same as mentioned in the reply on the other threads)
