SAP MDM vs Trillium & SAP MDM Integration with SAP BW

Hi MDM Gurus,

Any pointers or document on SAP MDM Integration with SAP BW, and Advantages/Disadvantages of SAP MDM over Trillium (Harte-Hank's).

Dear Rehman,

there are a lot of integration cases of MDM and BW. One is the "Consolidate BI Master Data" scenario, which is a full integration of MDM into BI OHD.

"SAP NetWeaver BI SP11 introduces a direct integration with MDM. You can

use the MDM functionality to consolidate your BI Master Data.

The data to be checked is transferred to MDM via BI's Open Hub

Destination. MDM identifies, matches and merges duplicate records. The

records receive an identical key that is re-extracted into BI. This new,

"grouped" MDM ID can be used within all BEx Queries to show that several

records have to be treated as one because they are duplicates."
