Auto Updation of Planned cost in CJ40

Hi Experts,

In case of Main project and its sub project scenario;-

I need to incorporate below requirement in CJ40 by system automatically.

Main project planned cost and revenue should be updated automatically as per changes in sub project in CJ40

Pl suggest any standard solution or development for this requirement.

if you consider sale order as sub project then it can be possible by development as following FM

FM: PROJECT_COST_PLAN, then in below term you have to consider cost

Items	Plan Cost in SO	Plan Cost in Project	Cost Element	WBS
Standard Material	SO line item subtotal (VBAP-KZWI5) Conditions: (EK02,VPRS,ZPRS)	Cost from subtotal (VBAP-KZWI5)	Via valuation class	WBS linked to SO line item

Have you checked with CJR2 update ?  This will update CJ40.

Hi,

I don't think it can be achieved in standard SAP. You can use the  help of your technical team to write a program to read the project planned cost and update it to the sub-projects..

You would need to look at tables RPSCO, PROJ, PRPS.

Also how do you want the sub-projects be updated? Is business looking at real time updates once they do cost planning of the actual project.. You need to get clarity from business on how the data needs to be updated.
