Technical Monitoring - Monitor SM13 Errors

Hi experts,

I would like to monitor SM13 entries in TechMon, but couldn't find an suitable metric.

Does anybody know something how to monitor it in TechMon?

Or is there a metric in CCMS?

Do you mean you want to check failed updates ?

You can check default ccms templates for this or same in templates if uainf MAI.

Hi Christian,

Goto Rz20 - SAP CCMS monitor templates -> system errors -> Update error and use this.

Else if using MAI - for eg, you can use below template for your technical ABAP system.

You can even bring your CCMS MTE for use in MAI.

BTW, there is an RFC-Provide which brings the Update-Information.

So you can also adjust to more days e.g.

Hello Christian,

what exactly do you need to monitor in SM13? RZ20 does not have an MTE to monitor entries in SM13, but in CCMS there is a possibility to monitor tables. If you know, in which table failed update records are stored, then you can monitor this table.
