TR or PCN for consumed sampling (331)

Hi Experts,

Suppose i received a 2 units of quality material.

I did 321 for 1 unit for which PCN will get created at WM.

In same way which document shall get created for 331(sample consumed) in WM ?

Is it TR or PCN ?

Please throw some light on this query

Hello

As 331 is a goods issue, you got a TR to remove stock from storage.

331 movement type is for goods consumption, so you should use TR creation and then convert it to TO.

Not much familiar MvT 331 as this is specific to QM but looking at the documentation, flow and other detail it looks like it should create a TR , Please check the WM tab in the Material document gets generated as a result of 331 movement type

Please check the setting under LE---WM----Interface----Inventory Management---Define Movement type ---- LE-WM Interface to Inventory Management

In Standard SAP, Setting is define for TR creation. while you will perform the posting in IM, Based on the TR you need to create TO (LT04) and Issue the goods to sampling QI
