SAP PI 7.4 Connectivity to ECC

Hi All,

We created a RFC Destination in SAP PI 7.4 to connect ECC System. We created a user in ECC with following roles,

1. SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR

2. SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER

3. SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER

But the weird thing is while doing the connection test, we are getting "500 - Outbound Message processing failed".

When we try applying the SAP_ALL role to the user and do connection test, connectivity is success.

So kindly please let me know the roles what are required for user which is used to connect from SAPI PI 7.4 to ECC Application, other than the mentioned above.

SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER should be enough along with application specific authorizations if any.

In 7.3X we had to explicitly assign the authorization object "S_SERVICE".

I would suggest you to  trace for missing authorizations(SU53) by removing SAP_ALL.

SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER should be enough. Can you share the screenshots of the configuration.

   I am getting below error in SM59 connection ( H type ) .from PI to ECC.
