Confused to find the exact space for Sap BI/BO/BW in SCN

Hi Experts,

                I am a regular webdynpro developer now i am moving into BIBO so immediately started searching in SCN PlACE for BIBO but i was wondered there are so many spaces for BI/BO how to find which is the correct space if you search for ABAP OR WEBDYNPRO ABAP YOU WILL GET ONLY UNIQUE SPACE BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE HERE WHY AND HOW TO FIND?

HERE ARE SPACES THAT I FOUND BUT I DON'T KNOW RIGHT ONE:

BI Platform

SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence

SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards

SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio

SAP Crystal Reports

SAP BW Powered by SAP HANA

SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office

SAP BusinessObjects Mobile

SAP Business Warehouse Accelerator

SAP Business Warehouse

Business Intelligence Solution Architecture

SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio

Welcome to BI / BO

I think the difficulty you have is that BI / BO is a rather expansive term - at least in this case. What you need to figure out is what BI / BO means to you. Will you be working with BI Platform? WEBI? Crystal Reports? Dashboards? Etc. Then concentrate on those SCN Topic Spaces. There is no way that you will be able to manage all of " BI / BO". Not unless you want to be the Einstein of BI / BO anyhow. We have a team of support engineers for each of the SCN Spaces you listed in your initial post...

A tip; Each SCN Space has an Overview which explains what that Space "supports". E.g.;

                            i know that no one can master in BO/BI but i need to survive i don't know anything but i know one thing if i know some topic i will post in scn if i want i will try to get it from scn.

Also, we are here for you. Most of the forums / Spaces are well monitored and everyone is happy to help. In general, there is lots and lots of information on each Space - Blogs, Jive Documents wikis  and more. So, use the search and then ask away.

Dear Srirangam,

SAP Business warehouse is main forum for basic BI . Others are used  for other part (like BIA, BO, BW on HANA) .

I already informed,

You need to follow all BO forums except BW forums(which i shared on my first reply).

Are you udner training now?

if yes then based on your concept you can follow specific forum.

for example: Dash boards - you can this forum - SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards.

Like that way based on your training concept youc an follow each forum and learn as you can.

Webdyypro abap - its not module, its one the content in ABAP.

like that way BO also have lot of contents(crystal reports,webi,desktop and dash boards etc..). you have to follow all BO forums.

sorry to say no training becoz i am working from 2 years on webdynpro our company not offering training they just believed me , anyway thankq very much

In BW there are various areas Extraction,Modelling & Reporting that's why they SAP has separate area as

Same is followed in terms of Business Objects where it has clusters of tools as WEBI,Dashboard * Crystal Reports and so on.

All of the above forums are belongs to BO  concepts only.

If you know BO concepts then you can understand forum names easily.

BI  = Business intelligence = BO.

Below 3 forums are BW/Data ware house forums. its not relevant to BO.

   SAP Dash boards.

keep on open the 3 or 4 tabs in your system
