Unable to receive OS alerts in Solman 7.1 SP12

Hi Team,

We are having Solution manger 7.1 on SP12 level. We have configured OS level alerts in SOLMAN_SETUP.

Path-> Technical monitoring -> Template Maintenance -> Host (Server) linux -> Metrices -> File system USED -> FILESYS_NAME=.*

Attached is screenshot for threshold values.

I have checked all configuration set up and all looks fine.

Let me know if i need to paste some logs or further details.

Did you resolve the issue? we are also having same issue after updating to Solman 7.1 sp12.

Thanks for replying.

I have changed threshold of file system /usr/sap/<SID> to 3% and red as 5%, but still there is no alert generation.

This is an example, in fact we are not getting any alerts for OS level. Its working fine with DB and R/3 level.

Can you provide me more details on where to check host/dialog agents ?

Hi Divyanshu,

Currently our main scope is to get success with one mount point : /usr/sap/<SID>, for which we are not getting any alerts even after setup of template under OS alerts.

As per the attached link : suggestion was for :  " (?:(?!/oracle(/.*)*)(?!/aris(/.*)*).*) " UNIX expression which is for multiple mount points.

We have already tried with multiple mount points which was UN-successful.

I checked under host, dialog agents logs, didn't find much info or help regarding ERROR

Have you tried with just a * ?

Also under TechMon do you see a grey rating or a value being reported in?

As another test can you try File System Free % and change the yellow threshold from 1 to something that will force the trigger?  Just to validate the host template.
