Hello Experts,
Pardon me for asking a basic question.
We have installed a new SAP PI 7.4 Java only. As part of proxy connection enablement from ECC to PI, I have followed below blog of Michael.
The RFC destination SAP_PROXY_ESR is working fine when did "connection test". But the other RFC destination "PI_AAE" is failing with "500 internal server error". Performed "SLDCHECK" and everything is fine.
Could you please help in debugging and identifying the issue
Thanks,
NJ

Best regards,
Albert

Hello Guys.
This issue is resolved. I post installation configuration steps were not performed completely. That caused this issue. We have redone the same and the issue is resolved.
Thanks for your help.

The user has initial pwd? Sometimes with proxies this is a handicap.

Hello ,
Can you please check some last things ,
That your target host is correct? Please check your target host with BASIS team.
Try changing the service No./Port to 50000 instead of 50100 to see if it works.
Apart from that i do not see any issues.
The Host:Port combination URL should work on the browser.
Thanks
Gaurav
Did you configure the user authentication?(logon and security tab)
You need to configure the user "PIAPPLUSER" or any user with "SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER" role
I assume you have configured the correct port number.
