SAPGUI Mac Close button

Hello,

I have installed the latest sap gui on a Mac client.

But when the user closes the connection dialogue it disappears but the program remains active. So it doesn't reappear when the users launches the program again. The only way to get the window back up is by selecting "Open SAP Logon" in the top menu.

Is there a way to reprogram the close button?

Just for clarification its this button:

Thank you.

That is standard Mac behaviour.  The red button is "Close Window" not "Exit Application".

Command-Q or from the Application menu "<AppName>  > Quit <AppName" will Quit(exit) the Application.

Here's one Apple doc explaining it a bit: Switch Basics: On Windows, I used to...

Most Mac users wouldn't want the button reprogrammed to Quit.

Yep. I recently switched from using Windows to a Mac at home, and this took some getting used to, but I eventually got the hang of it.

I still use Windows at work, and I admit to getting a little dyslexic at times, going back and forth. Especially when I'm at home on my iMac and remote console to my Windows PC in the office; then I find myself having to remember whether it should be "Command-C" or "Control-C" to copy some text....
