Table Joins

Hello Team,

This would be a basic question..

I am creating views in HANA  and I have question that ....

How we can determine left and right  table in analytic view  and attribute view.

Table are in Analytic view are :

1. 1.Attribute view(MARA- I  have selected few field from MARA for creating attribute view ) 
2. 2.VBAP table 

When I change the Joins in Analytic view I have seen different result .

I just want to know how system is declaring which one is left and right in Analytic view?.

When you select the join (already created),  you'll see the details on the right side in Properties

or you can create a join by right-clicking in an empty place and select 'Create Join'

Here you can specify the left/right tables etc

Hi Rishikesh,

Just one more addition to Ajay's comments;  if you are creating the join by simply dragging one field in one table towards the other field in the second table then the order that you drag is important.  ie: the first table you start from is considered the left table (even if you are dragging right to left!).  So if you ever get confused it's best to do it how Ajay mentions.  But of course it's easiest to just drag, just remember the order is important.
