Movement type 861

Hello Gurus,

Is it  possible to set up SAP to create QMLOT every time I execute tcode MB0A, mov type 861 on plant XXXX?

I don't want QMLOT for all transfers, only the ones with mov type 861. Is it possible?

If I assign 08 inspection type, it is creating inspection lots for all the transfers ?

Please suggest, what can be done

Hi Aadhya,

Use 05- Other Goods receipt inspection type instead of 08, it will create inspection lot once you do GR using MB0A.

in case of 08 Inspection type its not feasible to deactivate QM inspection for all other transfers.

Thanks for your inputs.

I've an issue to use the inspection type '05', as the movement type 861 is defaulted to the inspection lot origin '08'.

Would like to go for creating new inspection type 'Z8' and will assign this the material in QM view. Does this work ?

Hi Aadhya,

There is an option to deactivate the inspection for the movement type through SPRO settings>QM>Quality Inspection>Inspection lot creation>Inspection for Goods Movements.

For other movement type & inspecton lot origin combination, check the settings
