Starting SUM in Linux receive Error Controller already started

Hello,

Trying to start SUM in SUSE LINUX and receive error Controller already started.  First time starting SUM started on server.  Verified no processes running, stopped SAP and restarted server.  Still receive same error message.

Below is the error on startup:

./STARTUP guiport=4250 httpport=4255

Try the above command and let me know the output.

Hi Bob,

Use a lower version of SUM SP11 patch 5 or 4.

Also do paste the logs from /BASIS/sap/APO/SUM/sdt/log folder.

Hello Ashutosh,

I was installing SUM on an NFS mount point.  Installed it on a local filesystem, started SUM, and it is now running.

Stop or kill all processes.

set DISPLAY.

Start Server and then DSUGui.sh
